10 Signs Your Man is a Playa

Are you dating a playa or a keeper ?? Urban Dictionary defines a playa as: "A male who uses women for sex or other favors usually by charming the girl until they fall in love with them." Sometimes is is hard to tell the difference between a man who is a playa or a keeper. Other times the signs are right in your face if you take the time to notice them. Actions often speak louder than words and the playa's actions sometimes scream their message loud and clear: I am not to be trusted with your heart! I once saw a psychologist on TV discussing relationships and he said: Listen to what your man says. Sometimes he actually announces his bad boy ways..... so listen carefully.

A Man May be a Playa If:

He makes jokes about his wild ways. When I once asked someone what the "T: of his middle initial was for he said: "Trouble." He was right! He broke my heart in pieces not too long after. It was like a professional hit. He called on a Wed. night and said he wanted to build a life with me and then stood me up for our dinner date on Saturday night. I never heard from him again!

He has multiple Yahoo and Hotmail e-mail and IM addresses. He is a playa on the net.

He gets details wrong about things you have told him repeatedly. This is a sure sign he's got too much information coming in from tooooo many women.

He never listens to his phone mail messages in front of you.

He only calls you from work; never from home (he may be married).

He drives a car that attracts a lot of attention. Flamboyant men often crave excess attention, and the sexual opportunities it offers.

He calls you babe all the time instead of your name. Maybe he can't remember your name?? He sometimes calls you a name that is incorrect.

He forgets your birthday or other important events.

He lies a lot. You catch him in small lies and wonder if he's lying about more important issues too.

He is a dandy. He favors extremely expensive clothing, brags about how much it costs and gets haughty if you don't compliment him on his looks and attire frequently.
